A really nice, friendly local with lots of character. There's lots
of dark wood and dark green leather that's clearly been here a long time; and a wonderful tiled
floor in the bar.
The 20th Century hasn't been kept entirely at bay. The decorations
make it clear the pub is highly sports oriented; and they make full use of the big screen
TV.
And, some would say best of all, if the day we dropped in is
anything to go by, they serve an excellent pint of Tetley's.
