Exterior Photo

A really good pub with a wholly unspoiled feel to it. This might be one of the factors underlying its popularity.

Interior PhotoAll in all then, the Spring Bank combines something for everyone, lots of atmosphere, lots of old photos of Hull, and a good choice of excellent beer. Definitely a "must visit" pub; and by far the most conveniently placed of those on Spring Bank.

The sign on the outside wall reveals that the pub started life in 1838 as the Ship, before beginning to alternate between the Spring Bank Tavern and the Spring Bank Hotel in 1850.
