 At last: an Irish "theme pub"
that doesn't make you feel, even on close inspection, that you
are sitting in a film set. Yes, the interior decorators have been hard at work with lots of
attractively pre-cigarette-burned wooden screens and shelves: but this place is in real danger of
generating a bit of genuine atmosphere. It is no surprise at all that it is fast becoming a
favourite among Hullpub visitors.
Inside it is comfortable, even intimate if not too full, with lots
of small semi-private areas. Definitely well worth a visit.
