Some pubs are larger inside than they appear. The Kingston's
rather grand appearance actually contains an interior that is smaller than you expect; an effect
that is helped by an extremely imposing and impressive bar made of Canadian pine and dating back to
1795.
Other than the bar, this friendly pub is decorated by a number of
ships' bowspirits around the edge of the ceiling. Meantime, the 10p jukebox offers an interesting
choice for those who remember what "loons" were (or, in some cases, were too old for them
at the time).
