There are many who never stray beyond the pubs in this area: to them, we'd say that you are missing a lot of what Hull has to offer.

There are others who find the trek up Beverley Road daunting, if only in terms of the distance from the City Centre; and so never visit these pubs. To them, we'd say that there are some really excellent pubs that more than make the trip worthwhile. The Gardeners is especially worthy of a pilgrimage; and plenty of others well worth a stop along the way...
