This is an area of Hull it's all too easy to overlook. Yet you only have to look at the way some of these pubs have appeared at one time or another in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide to realise that there is a lot here for the lover of good pubs and good beer.

A jaunt to sample the delights of the Bay Horse or the local character of the Whalebone takes you some way off the normally beaten track. But give yourself a change one of these days and take a look.
