What used to be the Victoria Saloon (see photo, left) has gone
through some pretty dramatic changes to become the Hog's Breath.
Think what you might of the name and the exterior colour scheme,
internally, the Hog's Breath is very impressive indeed.
The front of the pub (see photo, right) is not greatly changed
from the "wild west" themed Victoria Saloon. But behind and above it is now a large and
extremely well designed area for live music. This comprises a stage, sunken area for spectators and
dancing, and two bars and other spectators' areas raised around the edges.
All the signs are that this imaginative venture, which started
late in 1998, is doing very well.
