A huge Tom Cobleigh conversion, the Fair Maid opened for business
in Spring 1997.
The interior is divided into lots of discrete areas by dark wood
panels. The effect is very stylish and extremely impressive: the designers have successfully
implemented a "ye olde" feel in a way that seems almost natural.
In other ways the design and outlook is very modern. Disabled
access and facilities are provided, as is a baby-change room.
