The Dram Shop occupies a very prominent corner position; and its
shape allows the operation of its remarkable circular bar. Well worth a visit for the architecture:
and the Bass beer could well entice you to stay for more than just one...
Once inside, the bar is almost overshadowed by an incredibly
ornate green and gold ceiling which, like the rest of the pub, has benefitted from a subtle and
sympathetic recent makeover. If you want somewhere with a really old, traditional feel and fixtures
and fittings to match, then drop in on the Dram Shop.
