A nice friendly, beer-rich, and generally impressive pub.
 Internally, the Bay Horse is very unusual. It looks as if an
old bar (at the near end of the photo, above, and in the interior shot, right) has been extended
into a much larger space with a high ceiling beyond. For a fairly modern conversion, the effect is
very impressive and atmospheric.
Though it is a little off the beaten track, the Bay Horse is well
worth the trek.

"The Bay Horse is excellent, although as you comment., somewhat off most people's beaten
tracks. Whenever I lead a local history walk in the area of Wincolmlee exploring Hull`s industrial
history, we find it impossible to get past the Bay Horse. It either rains, or we find ourselves
incredibly tired when we reach it, or we just fancy giving up the local history walk and going in
for a drink. We`ve even tried doing the walk the OTHER way but you still can't pass the Bay Horse.
